 1)      How did you get started in Crossfit?

My friend D-Bag (Jamie) had joined a month before and was talking it up bigtime!
 
2)      How long have you been doing Crossfit?
Since May 2008. 
 
3)      How much weight and/or body fat percentage have you lost?
As of today, I have lost around 30-35 lbs.  I didn’t weigh myself until nearly a year after starting because I was scared of the number. 
 
4)      What was your first initial impression of Crossfit on your very first Crossfit Workout? What made you come back for more?
I think the first workout was just learning about CF.  I came back because Marc and Jay were so patient with me.  Second workout was filthy fifty (which they guys were kind enough to scale down to filthy 25)… and the third was a beach workout.  I stayed around because I wanted to go to the beach with everyone.  The rest is history. 
 
5)      If you could describe Crossfit in one sentence: what would it be?
Crossfit is the hardest thing you’ll ever do and love everytime you are there.
 
6)      What is your most hated Crossfit workout?
Murph
 
7)      What type of training did you do prior to Crossfit and how does it compare?
I was a member at a globo gym and also doing triathlons .  While I wasn’t all that fast, I noticed that I raced better after doing CF.  I worked out by myself a lot before, which makes it easy to cheat.
 
8)      Are you involved in a sport outside of Crossfit? If so, what ? and how has Crossfit helped you in your sports' performance?
I do still race a little.  I like the fact that after taking some time off of running, CF makes it easier to get back into it.  A few weeks ago GI Jane and I decided to just run 7 miles.  Normal folks don’t just get out there and run 7 after taking time off.  CF makes it easy to stay in great shape.
 
9)      If you could design a Crossft T Shirt- What would the slogan be?
Don’t be a pansy.
 
10)  What is your favorite thing about Crossfit St Pete?
The people.  People make all the difference, either trainers that look out for you and teach you how to be better, or the friends I’ve made with the other members.  Seriously, what gym has a monthly wine night for their girls?!  That’s amazing!
 
11)  If you had to do a cameo appearance one of the following reality TV shows: which one would you pick & why?: Jersey Shore, The Real Housewives of Orange County, American Idol, or Keeping with the Kardashians ? 
Are you kidding? Kardashians all the way… gotta keep with my Armenian roots!
